Accelerating progress on 7 major projects worth VND 100 trillion, Bac Ninh urges major players like Vingroup, Taseco… to 'move forward while getting in line — focus on action, no backtracking.'
The leaders of Bac Ninh Province have requested investors of the seven new urban area projects to urgently implement planned activities under the guiding principle of “moving forward while getting in line” and “focus on execution, no retreat or delay.”

Recently, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh Province held a conference to urge progress and implement investment plans for seven newly approved urban area projects with selected investors.
Accordingly, the relevant units have developed detailed schedules for each project; prepared tasks and 1/500-scale detailed planning blueprints; established compensation and site clearance councils; conducted surveys and measurements to create land clearance maps and land ownership inventories.
At the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Dao Quang Khai, urged departments, localities, and investors to promptly implement tasks as planned, following the guiding principles of "moving forward while getting in line" and "focus on execution, no retreat." He emphasized turning challenges into motivation, considering the implementation of urban area projects a top priority for the second half of 2025.
The provincial leadership requested departments to research and propose the establishment of a Provincial Steering Committee chaired by the Chairman of the People's Committee. At the district, commune, and city levels, corresponding steering committees should also be formed, with clearly assigned responsibilities, including identifying "green lanes" and parallel tasks to accelerate project progress. The steering committee will review progress weekly and hold meetings biweekly.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment was directed to expedite map measurements and submit documents for expert appraisal by June 10; cadastral maps must be provided to local authorities.
The Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment, and relevant localities within the project boundaries must closely coordinate with investors to support and simultaneously resolve public consultation, planning appraisal, site clearance compensation, land allocation, and environmental impact assessment. Heads of these agencies and local authorities will be held accountable for the progress.
Investors are required to establish project offices and allocate adequate, experienced human resources; appoint clear points of contact for coordination with departments and local authorities; identify project areas and implement them in phases, following the principle of "start with the easy, tackle the difficult later."

In recent times, major real estate developers such as Vingroup and Sun Group have actively invested in projects in this province. Notably, Phu My Hung officially broke ground on the Hong Hac Ecological Urban Area project in mid-April 2025, with an investment of VND 27,000 billion.
In addition, Bac Ninh is currently calling for investment in a series of large-scale urban development projects. The total estimated investment for the airport is approximately VND 29,765 billion.
